Description

The story, Trail of Blood, takes place in 1864. This saga deals with Major McCain, a Calvary Officer with the US Army. After winning a decisive battle, McCain discovers his family has been slaughtered by a Guerilla group called the Dragoon. McCain resigns from his commission and returns to Arizona on a revenge quest. He is determined to track down his families killers and find his only living son James McCain III. McCain encounters many historical figures and events along the way; for example being present during President Lincoln’s assassination.
